Depicts the story of Nan Goldin's relationship with Naples and the people who have been important to her there. In 1986, the year she finished her famous book, The Ballad of Sexual Dependency, she left Manhattan for Europe. Along with old friends like Cookie Mueller, she went to Naples, Italy, where she made portraits of the city and the friends she made during her stay. Ten years later, after the success of her mid-life retrospective, I'll Be Your Mirror, she went back, and was inspired to make new pictures.
