From the dust jacket: "When Le Corbusier died, shortly before the publication of the seventh volume of his complete architectural works, he was denied the satisfaction of seeing the realization of some of his greatest projects. In the meantime his associates have been able to carry out what was already under construction or planned.

The abundance of projects completed over the past four years is so great that the material called for an eighth volume, again under the competent editorship of Willy Boesiger. This supplementary volume contains, amongst other things, previously unpublished projects such as the Museum of Knowledge and the Tower of Shadows at Chandigarh, which appear here for the first time.

The last sketches by Cor-busier, like those for his project for a hospital in Venice which enabled his associates to carry out his plans, also appear here.

A tribute to the great architect by André Malraux and documents from the last years of his life help to round out the picture of this unique creative designer who contributed more than anyone else to the development of twentieth century architecture."

Very good condition except dust jacket, which is damaged (final two pictures), although it appears rare to find a copy with the jacket remaining.
